CLASSIC JULY 24, 2008 Prizes
are awarded for the total weight of the five heaviest Brown Trout, Salmon,
Lake Trout, or Steelhead from DNR state legal limit for a three woman
crew. Three men are allowed
on board only to set lines and navigate, and assist in clearing lines.
No more than three lines per woman.
Designated women must catch and net all fish.
All women on board must have a valid Michigan fishing license and
must be registered. Any fish
caught qualify for regular tournament prizes.
All general rules apply (please review).
In the event of a protest, see
General Rule 13. In case
of bad weather, officials may call off or postpone event (decisions will
be made in concurrence with US Coast Guard with the safety of boaters
taking precedence). If cancelled, entry fees will be refunded.
”Captain’s
Catch” in effect.
The five heaviest of six fish weighed (picked by the Captain of
each boat) will be tallied for prizes. Time:
Shotgun start at 6:00 am. Must
be inside designated harbor by 3:00 pm.
Weigh in to follow. Captain’s
Meeting: Wednesday,
July 23, 2008, 4:30 pm, Earth Tech Big Tent. Registration:
$75.00 per boat (this registers all three women).
All boats must be registered
by 3:30 pm, July 23, 2008 – NO EXCEPTIONS! Guaranteed
Prize Money: 1st – 10th place: 1st
place - $ 800.00
